¡BALLABAJOOMBA  WORKSHOP! OK folks! ¡Ballabajoomba! is branching out, trying to reach new writers. Thus, we are starting a discussion / workshop / support group. Workshop is open to all who want to improve their writing or work on their "performance." Please bring several copies of your work to distribute to workshop members. We will read each other work and will try to help each other with some constructive feedback. In order for this exchange to work, work-shoppers MUST NOT assume that any work submitted for critique is autobiographical, and authors MUST NOT take any comments regarding their work PERSONALLY. In this way, everyone will be assured unobstructed and censor-free exchange of ideas. THE (USUAL) SCHEDULE: 8:30-9:30 p.m. - Writers/performers exchange (on first come first serve basis) 9:30 - 10:00 p.m. - a feature (frequently a poet from out of town) 10:00 - 11:00 p.m. - Round Robin Open Mic Ballabajoomba. Only the first 12 writers will have an opportunity to present their work from the stage. So, please, come and sign up early. Each presenter will have 5 minutes to do his or her work.
